One is handsome by nature, the other has to make some effort. I am one who will have to make even more effort in the coming period...
We're working in the garden. I want a huge pile of stones and a ditto batch of wood in another place. And when we're at it, I want the garbage burned right away.
Five little helpers did their utmost to contribute. They had a deal! Alanis was very happy that she was finally allowed to work again - she is very good at that.
She filled some buckets with sawdust and small pieces of wood in the workshop - if the fire is a bit languid, you get it nice and bright again. She put the buckets next to the fire, at a safe distance.
I went on: quickly put some green on the fire, pick up some stones, pass some wood - all in one breath. We went so well: what a teamwork!
The fire threatened to shatter a bit, so I grabbed a bucket, which at first glance had some small wood in it and threw it on the fire. I forgot that bucket was half filled with sawdust...
A huge blowtorch was the result, right in my face.
What am I glad that this happened to me and not one of the children!
