The Floris television series was broadcast in black and white by the NTS in 1969. The series consisted of twelve episodes that were repeated later on. Floris van Rosemondt was played by a young Rutger Hauer. The Indian fakir Sindala, with which Floris befriended, was played by Jos Bergman. Gerard Soeteman wrote the series and Paul Verhoeven directed him. Did you always like to look at Floris and remember the starting tune?
