What's wrong with the world today? A very common question, existing within all layers of society.

According to most, the problem today is obedience. Silent consent. The solution? The exact opposite. But there is more than one way to go about executing that idea. Through this article I will attempt to explain what most seem to see as the best theory. Or maybe I should say conviction, on which way is the only way that will reap lasting success.

First of all, there is a war going on. Not a conventional one. Not a dispute over physical sovereign territory. This is the kind of war which involves all of us. The entirety of humanity. Yes, it is the conventional “us vs them” concept, but not on a physical level. The territory at stake in this war is our mind. And the most disturbing part of it all? “They” have already won! No matter how you feel differently, your mind is not yours. It hasn’t been for years.

You have to come to the point where you must recognize this as fact, before any change can take place. It’s imperative for you to see the truth of the matter, before you can ever have a hope of changing anything. I will attempt to explain thoroughly what I mean by this, a little later on. But first, the Status Quo:

We have been tricked into thinking (and subconsciously accepting as a fact) that we are subject to our government. In truth the government is in place to serve US! But they have so blatantly ignored our shouts for so long and continuously forced new laws upon us which restrict our freedom of movement & expression. More & more they have stripped away any possibility we once had to legally to stop them. We have been tricked into slowly giving up our sovereignty.
So how did we let the reigns slip so far from our control? Some say the governments orchestrated catastrophic events, both environmental and sociopolitical, in order to thrust the global society into an aura of fear. Others say the leaders had nothing what so ever to do with such things and were just as shocked and appalled as you and I, but that they simply misused those situations to suit their agenda for control over the masses.  I personally have nothing invested in which is true, because whatever the truth of that matter is, fact remains that these situations were utilized as catalysts (and still are being used) to write and implement laws, directed at preventing such events in the future. On the surface, that is. Because hidden in the small print, those laws have a downside. In order to place certain restrictions on would-be terrorists, we are obliged to give up parts of our freedom and privacy.
All in the name of peace and safety.

We see our governments as all-knowing and trust the information they show us through mainstream media. Somehow they have also accomplished that we blindly accepted as a fact that they also hold the only productive solution. This results in insane scenarios, the likes of a badly scripted action movie centering around a corrupted government that misuses the trust of her citizens. And in all honesty, that is exactly what is happening right now.
Do you remember watching the movie “Minority Report”? The main theme of that movie was the ability of the government to have foreknowledge of crimes. Knowing that individuals were going to commit an offense, often even before the future perpetrator had any plans of doing so. The pre-crime division of the police would then apprehend the 'future villain' and he or she would be convicted and locked up on the base of what they were going to do in the future. So in short, pre-emptive incarceration, intended to prevent the act from ever taking place.

By now alarm bells should be ringing in your head. Doesn’t this sound an awful lot like what’s happening in the world today? Pre-emptive incarceration and subsequent “prolonged detention” of people deemed a “possible security threat” by the government. Pre-emptive strikes on countries that house regimes which could pose a threat to members of the NATO states; because their life views differ from ours and our leaders are secretly scared shitless by it. Or perhaps for the simple fact that the countries soil harbors a vast reservoir of the precious black gold, but it doesn’t want to share in the profit. Just two examples of a long list of very questionable governmental decisions, which affect us.
Our sons and daughters are being sent off to war with countries we have never even heard of. Sent off to die because two political leaders with opposing political views weren’t able to settle their argument over “who can piss the farthest”.

All in the name of peace and safety.
And we just accept it.
