
#health Exploring in my body. A few days ago at the medical visit I was diagnosed with Foraminal Stenosis. I was overwhelmed with the result but researching I could see that this is common in people of the 3rd age and although I am not in this group yet, I am suffering from this physical health problem. Stenosis is classified according to the region of the spine in which the injury occurs. I have read that the two main types of spinal stenosis are:
Cervical stenosis, narrowing occurs in the part of the spine that is located in the neck.
Lumbar stenosis. In narrowing occurs in the part of the spine that is located in the lower back area.
The most common cause of spinal stenosis is wear and tear changes in the spine related to osteoarthritis. Which is precisely what has happened to me for several years. In severe cases of spinal stenosis, doctors may recommend surgery to create extra space for the spinal cord or nerves. On the other hand, another reason why I now suffer from this condition is because of a poor diet of minerals. Since I was a little girl I did sports but neglect the diet a little. That's why I recommend a nutritional balance accompanied by physical exercises.
