Forgiving is healing yourself...
FORGIVE YOURSELF.
That sounds so incredibly simple and banal. But it's really incredibly important. Without doing so, you can often no further. Yes, you do stumble a bit further making it look like you are moving forward. but you don't get anywhere.
Coming to terms with yourself might be a better term, more powerful. Coming to terms with yourself about the decisions you made and didn't have the result you wanted. After all, you took them with the best intentions and the knowledge you had back then.
Coming to terms with yourself for all the moments when your actions also hurt others. Of course, this is a great pity, but don't make it needlessly bigger than it is. Often this is an interaction and there is rarely 1 person only to blame. Also, you often didn't really do it purposefully either. After all, most of them really do not get up purposefully in the morning with the plan to hurt another person. Being able to admit your mistake and sincerely regret is often enough over time to smooth out the folds. And if it's not, give the other person some time and forgive them and yourself in advance. Don't linger in the pain and anger.
So come to terms with yourself, with all the anger, pain and sadness deep inside. Stop tormenting or torturing yourself. to the mistakes you made, the pain you did to yourself or others, all the times it went wrong.
FORGIVE YOURSELF, YOU STILL NEEDED APPRENTICESHIP.
So forgive yourself, learn from it, continue with this new knowledge gained. and becomes HAPPY.
