Can you hook a little bit, and are you looking for a nice maternity present? Then crochet a bib like above! Helen of Helene Crochet hooks the KWF for charity and she sent me her latest project, which I can share with you. The original pattern is Kinga E . by “My Hobby is Crochet”

Although the pattern is in English, it is a good pattern to follow. Helen uses a double thread cotton with crochet hook 4. This makes the bib slightly larger than the original pattern, but sturdy and supple. The purple was commissioned, before the birth of a girl. It's crocheted in the color of the birth card ! The brown is for sale.

The cotton is from the Nova brand, purchased from Wibra. The bib has a size of about 20 by 20 cm, so also for older babies still fine to use. If you can read an English pattern, it's also a great pattern for beginners: unloading, fasting and half sticks, which are the only stitches you need to know for this pattern. Have fun hooking this bib!

If you don't want to be able to crochet now, but do you want such a nice bib? As a personal gift at a baby shower or for a maternity? Crocheted in cute bib or something else, in the colors of the birth card? Feel free to mail Helen (Helenehaakt@hotmail.com), because she also hooks on order. The proceeds will then go to the KWF.
