The rain is clattering against the windows

it's going to rant, willy-nilly

luckily I'm not sitting outside

but inside, stiff on the couch



There's a plaid over my legs

I'll have a cup of tea

I let others cry enough

now I take deserved a day off



Because, you know, being a tease is tough

that is definitely not recognized

you're never even done with bullying

while you are sometimes tired of it yourself



The bell rings, I get up, open

there is a man dripping on my sidewalk

he comes in cheekily

and starts with loud cries



“You should stop grunting and pranks

invariably followed by bullied and teased”

and he's selling me a few rake blows

he certainly doesn't know that I'm free today
