I'll never throw away jeans or skirts again. And sometimes I am quite so bold to ask friends and acquaintances if they still have jeans clothes that are broken. Because you can make really cool things out of these skirts and pants.

For example, look at this old, no longer fitting skirt of mine. I initially wanted to save it for a kids party to have parts cut out. But then decided to do something else fun with it. Namely a bag.


This skirt has frayed at the bottom edge and has an uneven hem at the front and back. I wanted to keep it that way. So I stitched the buildings together at about 2 cm, measured at the front, from the frays and. The bag now has a bottom.

Then I placed this bag on a piece of fabric as a pattern for the lining and cut it out with 1 cm extra as a stitching edge.
