From icing sugar and Christmas...

The world is sprinkled
with layers of icing sugar
It replaced the color and smell
from many flower growers
Crackling and crackling
from feet to that layer
was the only thing that was the silence
broke in the light of day today
The cold crept into my bones
breath clouds coming out of my mouth
The sun gave little heat
because she was low in the sky
It really feels like winter now
I walk into fun
of Christmas markets and lights
also at home with my family
The Christmas tree is beckoning
decorated in front of the window
so that they get out of their way
to go home quickly
Because Christmas is family
and if possible
a little extra love
that's what many dream of
Just in a poetic mood today.
 That's what the sight of a white-lined garden and the fun of Christmas decorations do to me.
Just in between, after I had put my Christmas menu for 16 people on paper.
Because yes, on December 24, the family will join us at the table, so next week it will be some more experimentation and a lot of shopping !
