I have often thought about my profession and how bizarre it really is. It has a certain form of regularity regardless of location... You go to work, you have to show up, sing, sing (applause) sing sing (applause) bow (applause) flowers and encore (applause) home and repeat!

But yes, the stages are now closed and me, like all parents, is assigned the role of the home teacher with diagrams, calculation books, crafts, grammar, tables and curling letters. In week 1 I felt quite a bit of stress, what were they supposed to do, huh, why are you done, the kids fool me, then read extra books... am I doing it right?

We're now in week 4 and I have to say, I'm happy with my brighter little guys! Every day they sit around doing their jobs, I don't have to control anything, I check their work and get a good education once:)

The #juf goes to work, with all the work prepared for the kids (applause) goes video chat with the whole class (applause) keeps an eye on whether all your child's work is digitally handed in and watches it (applause) makes creative instructional videos for the kids (applause) has question time for the parents (=encore + applause) go home and repeat!

My deep bow to these digital superteachers and as soon as we can drop our kids back at school, we'll give you a deafening applause!
