A flood disaster in a region full of climatic skeptics, that's a bit like an antivaxxer that's going to be on the ICU. No, I don't look at that with distress, nor do I recognize the hand of karma in it. The tragic and pity are bigger. Because under the acute disaster there is a second disaster here: that the forces that could have done something against this are being counteracted.

The first politicians to dwell on the Limburg disaster were Geert Wilders and Mark Rutte. In the affected province, their parties in the national elections became the second largest (PVV) and the greatest (VVD). Wilders openly battles the “climate mysteria”, Rutte does that whistle. On international stages, he shows himself battled and makes beautiful green chords, but once at home, the judge must enforce him to observe them somewhat. In the deepest part of his thoughts, in private coalition acts, he is particularly concerned that governments with D66 and GroenLinks turn to: “A lot of climate.”
