#photooftheday   #fursandeyelet   #butterflies

The furry, sandy eyelet is found throughout the country today, as long as there are a few trees and shrubs.
The top of the front wing is dark brown with a yellow-orange spot pattern and a white-cored black eye mark. On the top of the rear wing there are three or four white-cored black eye spots.
The butterflies feed on honeydew, fruit juice and nectar from blackberry, among other things.
