Desarrollado y publicado por Asmik Ace Entertainment para la Playstation 1, en LSD el jugador explora ambientes surreales sin objetivo alguno, el jugador sólo puede moverse y tocar objetos que lo hacen teletransportarse a otros lugares, este juego fue concebido el por el artista Japonés Osamu Sato, quién rechazó la idea ya cimentada de los juegos y quería usarlos para crear arte contemporáneo.
Todo el concepto del juego está basado en un diario de sueños que perteneció a un empleado de Asmik Ace por más de una década
La crítica lo ha exaltado por sus cualidades únicas siendo llegado a citar como uno de los juegos más experimentales de todos los tiempos.
