Waste? There's music in there... Huh? Huh? How is that? That sounds like fun, but how does that work? I already wrote a blog over there. About how to #muziekinstrumenten waste-making You read that here. In the report below with pictures you will find a nice overview. I made this following the story of activities of Ineke van der Linde. {Guest parent} How she started this fun activity with the kids can now read fromIneke:

Last year we were invited to a local music club for a whole afternoon with all children from 1 year. As a thank you gift we made a music box entitled “Waste there is music in there”. Most ideas can be found on social media.

Every child then made an instrument at his own level. All instruments have been tested by people of the music association and all instruments came out “music”!

1: Drum

This is made of a can (knaksausage size), balloon and hair elastic. From the balloon you cut the spout, and then strain it with the hair elastic around the opening of the can. You immediately have a rubber sheet on tension, which gives a nice sound. As drum sticks we used wooden {disposable} Chinese chopsticks.
