Ever thought gardening is tough? It might as well be challenging, but it also does give us a plethora of valuable lessons that might just make our personal life garden thrive.

First of all, plants are sensitive to various environmental conditions, from sounds, temperature, soil composure and acidity, to light exposure and humidity, airflow, all down to the cleanliness of their leaves.

Yet, they talk quietly. They make us listen more carefully, beyond the obvious. Monday and Thursday watering schedule is not enough - dip your finger into the soil to feel if it's moist. Look at the marks on the leaves, is there too much light, too few?
Thus, the lesson 1 of slowing down and reading carefully is shared, for who wants to benefit from it.

On the other hand, plants will not play with you. They will not exhibit explicit happiness. They will also not judge you if their leaves are wilting either. Those wilted leaves will indicate something about you, not only about your green friend. The plants might reward you with fruit and their beauty, but most of all, they will silently leave all the feelings of achievement to you, a feeling that you managed something delicate and stayed connected to the nature, being more aware of its cycles.

So, besides the rich information available online about each plant you might have in your garden or indoors, remember a few important things - light, water, air, feeling. Yes, feeling. Feel if their leaves are too rough, if the soil is too dry or too wet.

And, sing with your plants. They probably won't judge.
As long as your plants are growing, you know you're at home.
