Garfield the story of the beloved cat of television

#history In the beginning, Garfield was drawn in an exaggerated way, making him very obese. But over the years, her figure was stylized to the image that is currently known. As for his personality, it changed over time. It went from being a cat that only made jokes, to being a cat with worries that old age brings to any of us.

Did you know that his passion for lasagna has an explanation, and that is that its creator comments that Garfield was born in a restaurant where they sold Italian food. Therefore, every time he tastes it, his memories go back to when he was just a little boy. And that is why we see their eagerness to devour it until they leave no trace.

We can see that Jon, the owner of Garfield, has a bit of a grumbling character, but that it is overshadowed by an aura of depression that is very well represented in the comic strips. It is important to emphasize that Jon's personal life is not very pleasant that we say. Failed relationships and strenuous work is one of the characteristics that influence and, of course, being at the service of your cat, which is the living example of a phrase “dogs see us as their gods, instead cats think they are the gods of the house”. We see that most of the storytelling scripts in the comic strip oscillate between the depressing life of a man and the nonsense that his cat does.
