Last week I took you in my mixed media painting process. Something totally new for me, because working with collage technology, acrylinkt (didn't even know it existed until recently) and templates I had barely done anything. So with new materials, out of the box, I started working. Layer, by layer, step by step, something began to appear on the canvas. Did you miss my first steps? They are in this blog.

Although I was certainly happy to work on it, I was not so satisfied myself. I even called my Geisha an old ghost, something was not all of you could appreciate. As tips from the maker of this mixedmedia, I was instructed to show a little more daring. Pff, yeah, dare I recognize that. I usually opt for safe, but yes, this assignment isn't a big leap in the precarious depths anyway.?

I also had to take a critical look at the state of the eyes. That's still a tricky thing, because even though I painted them completely away, they're almost right back on it.

Yet a painting grew out slowly, which made me quite happy? Is he finished? I'm still in doubt, because I know it's not quite right, but on the other hand, it was super process to do once and I'm quite happy.
