Get Started with Giethars (Resin)
Working with casting resin, or resin in English, has been on my “to do” list for a long time.
There are many options for making small, personalized things.
I started with small cast resin pendants from the hobby shop and jalls from Alie Express.
I had several small charms, beads and some organic material to use.
The whole process takes a few days and the casting resin smells quite decent, so make sure you have a well-ventilated area.
What do you need?
Casting resin and hardener (hobby shop) Update the webshop delivers very good material: wwwpolyestershoppennl Molds (hobby shop or Alie Express)
Material to put in (I started with small metal charms)
Baking paper, wooden stirring spatulas, plastic cup for mixing.
Tweezers to put the charms on the spot. Hair dryer or small gas burner
