Get that gang off our plate!

The gang on our plate keeps getting bigger. Various agricultural products are full of toxins, food deception is the order of the day, ultra-processed and unhealthy foods dominate supermarket shelves. In addition, the groceries remain as expensive as ever.

When will this stop?
The previous government had great promises, but little has come of it. But the upcoming elections offer new opportunities for politicians to work on our right to fair, safe and healthy food. We want to be taken seriously by our directors. That's why now is the time to launch our five-point plan. Sign the petition and call on the parties to remove the gang from our plates!

Protect consumers from the power of the food industry
Facilitate independent research, set up a lobby register and restore the food lobby from the meeting tables.

Guarantee the right to a healthy food environment
Legally establish the right to a healthy food environment, set a sugar tax and ban child marketing under 18.

Punish all forms of food deception
Extend the sanctions for deception, strengthen the NVWA and combat the self-regulation of the Advertising Code Commission.

Guarantee 100% non-toxic agriculture
Make a roadmap for non-toxic agriculture, introduce a pesticide tax and stop the export of pesticides banned in the EU abroad.

Ensure a fair price of food in the supermarket for everyone
Demand transparency in pricing, stop excessive food speculation, and guarantee healthy food that is affordable for everyone. #foods #Gezondheid #payable
