Ghost. Pythagoras in ancient Greece or Buddhism in Asia already incorporate the idea of not consuming or using other animal products for non-violence. Its promoters say they feel deep compassion for the suffering of others and for the suffering of animals.

It is not known when it arrived in Spain, but it has been proven that the number of vegans has increased. The oldest news stories date back to 1997.

Organized. A political party (Pacma) has been running for elections for a long time (it was born as anti-bullfighting, but now they are vegan). In addition, there are the vegan and vegetarian associations. Vegans and bulls. The vegan contribution was “decisive” in the campaign that led to the abolition of bulls in Catalonia, according to Professor Núria Almiron. Other reasons, apart from those expressed by vegans, also influenced.

The rules. Veganism is a political movement in favor of animal rights that is practiced on the basis of certain rules in the consumption of strong moral values.

2. Clothing: use garments developed with vegetable or synthetic fibers.

3. Entertainment: do not attend shows where animals are used and/or mistreated, or refuse hunting or fishing.
