“ Old age: the crowning of life” I

A special quote
When I was preparing for
a theme day about the second half of life some time ago,
the years from
our 42nd year of life to our death,
I found a quote from Rudolf Steiner. me again 
and so deeply, that I started the theme day reading this quote aloud. It is not an easy 
quote, but very rich. Its deeper beauty reveals it especially when you carry 
it with you for a while in a meditative atmosphere.


The statement I mean is this:

“The earth has not yet fallen into decay, because there are people who remain in their bodies for a long time
They transcendthe decay of the body and prove
that you are more than your bodyand therefore help to

pullthe earth out of Ahriman's (or Satan's) reach .”
