Getting to know humanism
There are also non-believers (like me) who believe that this life is our only life.
That there is no afterlife,
That the universe is a natural phenomenon,
That man originated from evolution.
What is important to me?
Not the Bible, but humanist ideas inspire me for a meaningful life. Develop and develop yourself from freedom, responsibility, dignity and strength.
How do I want to be there for others? What does death mean to me?
Life's questions are timeless and we are all looking for the meaning of life.
Many people think and live according to humanist ideas, but do not call themselves humanists. Some call themselves atheists ( an atheist denies the existence of a deity ) or agnostic ( the agnostic believes that man cannot know for sure whether the supernatural, including a god, can exist ).
Many people prefer not to label themselves or have doubts.
The Humanist Covenant was established to also provide non-believers with a philosophical 'shelter'. It gives you guidance to know that a lot of people live and think like me.
