#PADDENSTOELEN ☺️ In Nijeveen there are very large fly agarics: no less than 3 together and the largest one has a diameter of 35 cm.
FEATURES: The fly agaric is a #opvallende mushroom, which is common in the low countries. Eating them can lead to symptoms of poisoning, but the severity of this is usually not easy. The most famous appearance of the fly agaric is a dark red hat with white dots. The white dots are remnants of the overall shell (velum universale) in which the mushroom was' locked 'before it came up from the ground. These rinse off the hat quite quickly in rainy weather. The color of the #hoed , however, is variable and can range from red to orange with yellow hues. The first photo in the photo gallery below gives an idea of the variation in color in fly agarics.

The hat is 5—15 cm wide. [2] The meat, plates and spores are white. The spores are elliptical in shape (9-12 µm at 6-9 µm) and not amyloid. On the white stem is usually a clear ring and at the bottom a (flaky) purse. Fly agarics can occur from July to late autumn, with a peak around the end of August.
