#childrensbookweek2022
Reading is essential for me and encouraging children to read is so important to me. Personally, I once sat on the local jury, and from experience I know that sometimes a good children's book is much better and more profound than an adult novel. It is not because it is written for children than we, as adults, can't learn or enjoy anything from it.
Giving a child a book is also a great idea. You're not just giving a book, but a whole adventure that will help him stimulate his creativity, intelligence and imagination. So my tip always stays, if you don't know what to give. give me a good book.
Unfortunately, I'm currently not really up to date with the current children's books as my kids are already young adults LOL. But my daughters loved the little witch Lotje (how could it be otherwise).
Bear and Bee found my son beautiful again and from my own childhood it's mostly Only in the world and Crusade in jeans that stayed with me. Who, by the way, has a tip for a really good children's book, I'm listening. .
By the way, one of the Yoors here has worked out something nice about this year's theme: Gi go green. Check out @ellesvandenbroek I would say.
