Big news: God is also there for your generation

“Big news for you” series!'in 2023

Among Christians, in the churches, (just like in the rest of society), the difference between generations can be an obstacle. Can older people, young people and children find/complement each other? Or do they let themselves be limited by focusing on the differences?

In the Bible, you see that families, tribes, etc. play an important role. Children belong and are even set by Jesus as an example for adults. After all, He says, let the children come to Me.

But the elderly also play a major role in the history of God and man. Just think of Caleb. After 40 years in the desert, he can be an example for the younger generation in conquering the Promised Land.

God is often referred to as the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. That's been three generations anyway. And the story continues unabated with (eg.) Joseph, Moses, Joshua, Samuel, David, and Solomon. God is a God of all times and places, and therefore also of all generations.
