How could this happen and why? How can one change a church church church from evangelical to charismatic in a few years and cause one third to leave the church? That cannot be God's intention and certainly not to the honor of God?

This is a story from the practice of Grace023, from evangelical congregation to charismatic congregation. The names of church and people are made up, the story is real. Unfortunately, there are so many of these kinds of stories and who knows, you or you have a similar kind of story. Then know you're not the only one.

Start of evangelical community Grace023

Grace023 was born 7 years ago from a rupture of a large charismatic/full evangelical congregation. It started with a biblical circle on a weekday evening and after a while also the services on Sunday. The atmosphere was good, after the service one ate with each other and shared love and sorrow. A few elderly couples were in charge. A predecessor was deliberately not chosen, with problems from the previous municipality still fresh in memory.
