As I did in the post of Friday man , October 27, '18 was a festive day for Grandma's button box. They celebrated that it is 5 years since Rowena and Miriam started crafting buttons at the kitchen table. Rowena went to a special education school and was looking for a place where she could continue to grow after school. And Mirjam is an applied psychologist and was able to offer Rowena a a quiet, clear and familiar place.

In those 5 years, the kitchen table was exchanged for a 2-storey building where approximately 6 to 9 employees are offered a meaningful day spending by 2 permanent supervisors and occasionally an intern and volunteers.

And the most beautiful things are made of knots, workshops are given and a children's party is also possible. With all that nice stuff, Grandma's button box is in markets and fairs.

It was immediately a cozy entrance with this balloon bow at the entrance. Created by Jonnie Ballonnie.

This beautiful owl Ollie (the mascot) was designed by one of the employees and has a lot of family in miniature that are for sale.
