#weetjenog Sandy and Danny meet on vacation. They fall in love, and at the end of the holiday it's hard for them to say goodbye. Later, Sandy moves to where Danny lives and then goes to the same school, Rydell High School. When school starts, Sandy and Danny suddenly meet again. Sandy knows Danny as a romantic and sweet boy, but at school he is known as a tough woman devout. When they meet again, their imagos collide.

Nobody expects Danny to fall for the good girl Sandy. Sandy is still hopelessly in love with her holiday love, but Danny's tough behavior quickly diminish this. She starts hooking up with other guys, making Danny jealous. He reports to sports coach Calhounom Sandy for winning him with sporting achievements. During a big dance contest of the school, the two get closer together again, until Danny dances the stars of heaven with another girl at the end of the night and without Sandy wins the competition.

There's a reconciliation attempt on Danny's part, but he's ruining this because he's trying to get Sandy into bed, something that still virgin Sandy is not ready for. When Danny wins a car race against a hostile racer, Sandy realizes she can't get Danny out of her head. She decides to change to fit into his cabal, not only for him, but also for herself. From a good girl, Sandy turns into a hip girl, while Danny tries the opposite and suddenly presents himself as neat and sporty.
