This short fable, The Man Who Saw Nobody, is a Chinese fable about greed and obsessions that warns us of how greed can change our reality and the perception we have about everything around us.

A good number of traders met on the market that day. Among them, a man who sold gold. Suddenly, a young man approached and, in broad daylight and at all glances, stole an ounce of gold and ran out.

They did not take long to apprehend him, and then the merchant asked him:

“But... why have you stolen gold from everyone's sight?

The young man, grieving, replied:

— When I took the gold I didn't see anyone. I saw nothing but gold.

Moraleja: 'Greed transforms everything we have to show around'.
That is why we must observe our behavior and not confuse the welfare that provides us with the material blindness produced by wealth that is not bad if we take more into account the true happiness that is not bought with coins but with love
