Hippolyta: Within Greek mythology we have that the queen of the Amazons Otrera conceived four daughters: Melanipa, Antiope, Penthesilea and a fourth Hippolyta, daughter of Ares (god of war) who granted her her magic belt.

Within the list of orders received by Eurystheus, Hercules was to obtain the magic belt of Hippolyta, all this at the request of Admete (daughter of Eurystheus).
Hippolyta was the queen of the Amazons, who lived around the river Thermodon, they excelled in terms of war, it was a tribe of women who adopted manly labor, in turn removed their right breast to be able to shoot comfortably; they only removed one because if they had offspring they only raised females, and breastfeeding with the left breast.
Hippolyta had the magic belt of Ares as a symbol of her superiority over the other Amazons and that is why Admetes wanted to obtain it, for her to stand out from the others.
It is thus that Hercules set out on his way in search of that belt; and they eradicated various versions of the events.
He falls in love with Hercules
In the first version, Hippolyta, when seeing Hercules, fell completely in love and agreed to give him the belt without any objection.
In another version, it is said that Hercules kidnapped Melanipa (the queen's sister), and demanded the belt as a ransom. Ensuring the life and freedom of his sister.
From there it emerges that, by obtaining the Hercules belt. One of his companions Theseus, kidnapped Hippolyta's other sister, Antiope.
This situation worsened with the intervention of Hera (an enemy of Hercules) who pretended to be the Amazon and spread the rumor that Hercules was there to attack them and even take the queen. Despite this, Hercules and Theseus managed to flee carrying the belt and Princess Antiope with them.
