Who doesn't know the expression?
I believe that this has already been developed at birth. As a small child already along with my grandfather who had a vegetable garden of about 300 m2.
When my mother's grass lily was in bloom, hanging over the counter, I climbed on a chair and cut off the cuttings as soon as it grew to it.
A shelf in my bedroom acted as a nursery. With sometimes up to 100 jars.

In the garden, a border turned into a 2m2 mini vegetable garden with strawberries, radishes and a single strained potato from the mother's potato tray, which then delivered another kilo of potatoes.

The fact that I was going to take flower arranging training and working in my parents' flower shop made sense to me.

Once living on my own, always to be found in the garden if I had this
Peonies, roses and berry plants always found a place with me.

And as described in previous blogs, gardening remains a passion.
Currently, the lilac bush, the peonies, the crocosmia bulbs and the trafficking of women have already been given a place in the flower market.

So yes, I think that green fingers expression does apply to me, although they are black from the Earth more often 😉
