The grumbling Gumbling Duck will stop grumbling when he sees these iron-on bead projects! The ironing patterns can be found below for free and allow the larger children to make the duck, dog, rabbit and pig from the fun picture book Grumbling Duck ( Joyce Dunbar / Petr Horacek ).

Have you ever made something with iron on beads? Then you know how it works: Place the beads on the shelf, if your figure is ready, you put there ironing paper (or just parchment paper) over, let it iron (by an adult) and the beads are melted together!

Inspired by this fun picture book, the eldest children also wanted to make a craft that fits the Grumbling theme, but it shouldn't be too childish. That's why 4 patterns have been made here, which are quite a bit difficult. but if the ironing work is finished, you also have something fun! You could stick the figures on a transparent sheet and hang them as a door or window hanger! But that's just one of the many options.

The Grumbling Book ( Lemniscaat BV. publishing ) is about grumpy Duck. Her pond has dried up and no one wants to play with her. At least. that's what she thinks. Because she doesn't want to dig holes with a dog. Not with Pig in the Mud Pool. Don't crow with Rooster. No puff with Turtle. Not having a nice bite to eat with Goat. There is a cloud that haunts her.

You can read how that goes on in the book!
