Grumbling of paper plate
You ever grumbling? And then a grumper cloud appears over your head? Oh, no. With this grumbling Duck indeed! In the picture book Moppereend (Joyce Dunbar/Lemniscaat B.V. Publishing house) you can read all about it.
Below you will find a craft tip for crafting before or after reading this funny book. You don't need much; the duckling is made of a white paper plate and orange paper. With a satestocket you attach the cloud to the duck, by sticking it with adhesive tape. And oh yes, the front leg is attached to the plate with a stapler. But I'm sure you have that in the house!
Print out the pattern, cut out and pull over. Or you can draw the example out of hand a little bit.
If you have cut out the shape 1x, the children can cover the shape on their own plate.
