#halloween After surviving the hospital explosion and being imprisoned for about 10 years in a maximum security prison, Michael Myers manages to escape in a routine transfer to pursue his family's only survivor, his niece Jamie.
After the commercial and critical failure of Tommy Lee Wallace's Halloween III (1982), the original executive producer decided to continue the franchise, but this time making changes and discarding the original idea of John Carpenter and Debra Hill of a series of films set on Halloween and does what his predecessor should have continued and is that the cameras are again focused on the famous serial killer Michael Myers
That's when we return to Haddonfield 10 years after the massacre. The deaths are not that bloody in this installment but they are shocking and we can see a considerable amount. Dialogues may be somewhat dafy in some scenes, but I think we have seen this in their predecessors, although it is compensated by good performances by the actors, there is in fact a special scene that will surprise you in case you haven't seen it yet, and of course Donald Pleasence playing Doctor Loomis. Michael Myers looks pretty confident and strong, as always. And we can see Michael brand new mask, he continues to be intimidating and that accompanied by good sequences manages to capture excellent shots of Michael.
You have some mistakes, such as the use of a blonde mask that Michael Myers mistakenly uses in a shot, or scenes that have no logic whatsoever, like the one in the van. If it is true that the story was modified a little too freely, no matter some consequences and this is perhaps due to the disaster of your previous film. I liked it quite despite the details that could be improved. If the result is good and you can see that there was more dedication.
This fourth part manages to turn around and improve the saga in a general way.
You can see it and give me your opinion.
