Halloween II (1981)

#halloween After the bloody Halloween night in Haddonfield, the town continues to be terrified after police confirm that Michael Myers's body has not been obtained.. The only one who could survive the massacre has been intern, but she will revive the nightmare again when the killer locates her and tries to kill her again..

The main idea Carpenter and Hill had was to place the sequel a few years after the massacre on Halloween night of 1978, where Michael Myers was looking for Laurie Strode to find her in a high-rise apartment building, but eventually decided to keep the action in Hoddenfield and essentially at the local hospital, in addition to continuing directly where Halloween I ended (1978)

I think it's a good continuation, although of course I don't reach the mix of elements from the first. The setting in the hospital is quite correct, gives it a wide and quite tetrical framework at the same time. Myers is still a beast, it pity that even though there are more murders than in the first, some are not seen and others are not so brutal... There are parts in the plot that sometimes become loose, but it has acceptable dialogs although some are more. Good accompaniment in the soundtrack along with a good setting.
