#halloween

Most of you already know that I am a chef by profession, but in a distant past I did something completely different.

Until 2012, I worked as an all-round makeup artist and transformed a lot of people into the most diverse characters. Halloween was therefore always a very busy period and among the numerous creeps who then walked around, there were certainly a number who had called on my skills. Although it may sound crazy that I'm not really into Halloween, I was of course able to enjoy myself with my brushes and tubes during this period.

In 2001, I did the makeup and hairstyles of the then girl group M-kids for their song Halloween, I took care of both the design and the final performance (with assistants).

Weeks of preparations, long shooting days, special collaborations and a team that did an incredible amount of work to make a spectacular video clip were a real gem. The song is still played at Halloween parties and some of us know the lyrics still.

Pure nostalgia.

If I take a look at it, I am proud of what I achieved back then. It was exhausting because we started painting day and dew, it was hectic because it featured so many characters, it was tiring because we had to stay focused but it was worth working on as a team.

you've already written about doing that. At least it sounds familiar to me. I'll watch the video tomorrow and I'll have a sound.
How nice that you were involved in this. ! I remember the song well. It remains a classic at school Halloween parties.
@enigma Yes, I was their regular makeup artist for a while.
Good job! I've always enjoyed griming. Once painted my own head like a skull, at carnival. (Was a one-off.) At the group of friends, I was initially not recognized!
