Halloween witch cauldron tinkering
Adacadabra... It was a little worrying to tinker a black cauldron for a witch. We wanted to make a 3D witch cauldron that a nice witch drink can sip in. Delicious dirty pumpkin soup with black spiders, green furry worms, yellow earwax and scary white pieces (maybe bones but from which?) and all sorts of other ingredients to create a real magic potion.

But we did it, we made a witch cauldron out of a 9cm styrofoam ball! This cooking pot with handle is 16cm high and looks nice on our Halloween themed table. It can also be saved if we throw a creep party. With some cobwebs, bats and black cat it's best a nice decoration!

Thus, the basis of the pot is a styropor ball. With a hobby knife or cutter, cut off the upper part of the ball. That doesn't have to be neat, after all, it's the friable soup! Also cut a piece from the bottom so that the ball remains.

If you stick a long sateprikker in for a moment, it's easier to hold the ball and paint pitch black from all sides. With Creall Studio Acrylics (tube) that goes great, but also with Creall Top deco acrylic paint (bottles) it covers fine.

You put some green, yellow and red paint on top and stir a little bit. Turn a green chenille thread on a sateprikker to make a spiral. Cut the curled chenille thread into pieces, these are the worms. Punch holes for with the sateprikker and stuff the worms in.
