Han Drawing
Many years ago I walk with my colleague in our new black-yellow police uniform around the Baandert, municipality of Sittard-Geleen. On a large lawn, elementary school students are engaged in a sporting day. We don't let the chance slip away and make a short foot surveillance on the green lukewarm dancing blade of grass. Connecting with residents is very important. We are very much addressed by the youthful enthusiasts and answer their many stereotyped questions like you already caught crooks today and have you shot, used the cuffs or hit someone with the bat etc..
Fortunately, there are no elderly people present, who often say, “Watch out or this policeman will take you.”.
My calibrated answer to such a questioner has always been, this policeman does not take children, as much as Zwarte Piet... Well, adults, if you know what I mean!
The children want a tangible memory and ask for a han (d) drawing. Okay, then, and I'm making hedge phenomenon signatures, a totally spontaneous version of my own..

Haha, very nice to tell you and you treated it well. Sometimes you have to be positive and it may not always be easy, but waving the power you wear is like a red rag on a bull, I suppose.
