People with this functional diversity are distinguished between:

Deaf : have total or profound hearing impairment.
Hearing loss : they have a partial impairment, that is, they have a hearing aid which can improve with the use of hearing aids (electronic device that amplifies sounds).


The causes of this diversity are manifold

Hereditary factors,
The use of ototoxic antibiotics,
Difficulties in birth (childbirth),
Meningitis,
Middle ear infections,
Noise-induced hearing loss,
Age-related hearing loss, among others.

for the acquisition of the communication code that best suits your

Some interventions that correspond to specialist teachers are
following:
- The development of the capacity for oral and written comprehension and expression
- Training in labio-facial reading and sign language management.
- Acquisition of the phonological repertoire, voice and suprasegmental aspects
of speech.
