Helmplicht

It can be arranged so simply. No worries about whether or not it's a fat bike, an e-bike or a pedelec.

There should be a legal introduction of helmet requirements, driving licenses and a minimum age of 16 for all bicycles that can travel 25 km/h or faster. The main reasons for this are safety, control and traffic skills:

Safety: Bikes that go 25 km/h or faster are at greater risk of serious accidents, especially without helmets. A helmet requirement reduces the risk of head injuries and can save lives.
Traffic skills: Obtaining a driver's license ensures that drivers have the necessary knowledge and skills to participate safely in traffic, which increases overall road safety.
Responsibility and control: A minimum age of 16 guarantees a certain level of maturity and responsibility. This allows us to prevent younger, often less experienced drivers from ending up in dangerous situations.

These measures can contribute to fewer road casualties and safer road traffic for everyone.

The average e-biker drives 18-22 km/h.
