Hommels zijn prachtige insecten die meehelpen aan de voortplanting van bloemen en fruit. Ik ga zeker al een veilig plekje voor hen maken waarin ze kunnen overwinteren

@marijke , that depends, of course, on how big your balcony is. However, a balcony is a very sheltered place and often near gardens or flower boxes. To continue the comparison - there are many hives on balconies in A'dam.

@ellesvandenbroek , as far as I know (partly because of the snake), it's really a bumblebee nest. If you don't see Bumblebees, you can of course always take a pulse.
