Today again a new blog. I decided that I do not write a blog on Sunday. As a photo to my blog a picture of the Merlion. The Merlion is a half lion, half fish and is the protector of Singapore. I chose this picture because I talked to Grandpa Chris and I'm working on my paper.

Yesterday morning, Grandpa Chris called. He's in Taiwan right now, working there. His wife Mommy is in Singapore. At the end of the month he finished working in Taiwan and goes back to Singapore. He told me that foreigners no longer income Singapore and that if you come from abroad, you must quarantine 14 days. If you don't do this, you'll get a fine of $10,000 Singapore dollars. I converted it on the Internet with a special website and that is €6404.09. I think you'll stay inside. Grandpa Chris said that they are allowed to go to the streets in Singapore, but that it is strongly discouraged. Because they are used to strict rules in Singapore, they listen to them very carefully. I think they should be much stricter in the Netherlands too, because now a lot of people do not listen. I don't understand why these people don't listen.

Did you know that in Singapore there's a fine of 1,000 Singapore dollars if you don't go through after you pee? And there is also a fine of 1000 if you accidentally drop a candy paper on the street. You're not allowed to walk around your house naked, and if you make music and your neighbors complain, and you go on after that, you get a very high fine. If you don't pay your fine, you're going to jail.

Today I get new school work and continue with my paper on Singapore. Thanks to Grandpa Chris, I have a lot of information now. I'm also going to start learning the Sailbook. Because in the summer, I go to sailing camp and I get a theory exam. But if I do something about it, I don't have to learn so hard. #corona #coronavirus #thuisonderwijs #blog #singapore #zeilen
