This week I didn't get my homework until late. I didn't know what to do on Monday so I continued with my work and when I received my assignments I immediately started the craft assignment. I had to make a vehicle out of a milk carton. But my sisters have to make the same craft assignment every time and we hardly have milk in our house. So I quickly drank the suit and started crafting. I went to cut, paint, drill, glue, screw and nail. I used a glue gun, a screw drill, a saw, a hammer and scissors. As a material I used the milk carton, rope, wood, paper, satay sticks, screws, nails and second glue. I made a sailboat/frigate. Then I asked Mom to take a picture so I can send it to the teachers. I'm glad I finished the craft assignment.
Yesterday I didn't make a blog because I was doing my math. Daddy's new car finally came and in the afternoon we were allowed to go for a ride. We drove to our grandfathers and grandmothers and waved at them from the car. And I thought it was really nice to see Aunt Fem again. He's with Grandpa and Grandma and works from there. I've also seen Rupert and Otto, Aunt Fem's dogs. Rupert is still a puppy, and he's very cute. I liked to finally see them again. In the car, Dad got a message that all of India is going into lockdown and was immediately called a couple of times. Because there's a very big ship with workers off the coast of India and they only have food for 10 days and the lockdown is going to take longer. I said, they'll eat each other in a moment. Now they have to figure out what they're going to do. On the ship are 2 Dutch people, many Indians but also employees of other countries. They probably can't dock at the docks. I worry about them, because it's really not fun what happens to them. Daddy is calling and skyping a lot early today.
I have a lot of homework to do. So I'll go on soon. Because I could only start late on Monday and yesterday in the afternoon I was nice out of the house. Last week I was done on Thursday and I was off Friday. I don't think I'm gonna make it this week, but I'm gonna do my best. I'm gonna finish all my math first and then my language. I had weird sums yesterday about a sailboat. I had to click if the rope was so much mm, cm, m, km thick. So I clicked on mm, because the thickness of ropes always goes in mm. But according to the sum, it had to be cm. And there came the same sum and then I clicked cm, instead of mm, and then that was also wrong. But the sum before it was about the weight of the anchor, and this sum went over the anchor line. In mm, that line was too thin for an anchor of that weight and a boat of that length. Anyone who sails would agree with me. Except for this computer program. So I actually made two mistakes that I really don't think wrong.
I don't understand why I can't get my picture right. I'm sorry, but you can see my boat. I look like spiderman, crooked on the wall. 😂🙃 #Corona #Coronavirus #thuisonderwijs #auto #boot #rekenen #YoorsCoronaPositiveChallenge
