Home decor dog- Finally, we had a dog ready for our home. We have done research on different types to fit our lifestyle. We both wanted a big, gentle dog, and, as we looked at pictures of different kinds, one caught our attention. Bernese Mountain Dogs are beautiful, big and have a wonderful nature. This would be our new “baby”! After meeting the farmer, and waiting a little longer, we brought home our youngest child, Dante.

We were very happy to have a vinyl kitchen on the floor during pot training. Although he was quick to learn, he was a puppy. Vinyl floors are durable and very easy to keep clean. This was also a blessing because Dante did not know how to wipe his feet during the rainy summer days.

We also learned that children's gates are not just for people. Because most of the house had a carpet, we felt the gate was just what we needed. This saves me a lot of extra carpet cleaning, which is not my favorite job.

For the first few months I wondered why everyone was talking so much about this mass extermination. I did not realize it at all. However, as our little soft ball grew, and weighed about 40 pounds [10 kg] a month, I began to notice little change in that situation. Gradually, weeds began to appear in the corners of his trunk. Soon small, woolly balls needed daily attention of the broom. It eventually became apparent that the vacuum was the only way to prevent those floating hair follicles from passing through my broom. First I tried to clean a small straight vacuum. Just charge it and go! Only I found out that I could pour the canister several times before I finished and the case was over before the hair was done.

However, if that little bit right didn't work for me, I decided to move into my old canister bathroom that had discarded bags and an electric cord. It was fun! There was no charge during the operation, the bag was able to hold all the fur our puppy could dispose of. I had to use it every day, but it worked like a charm. Dante did not pay attention to the noise, and he did not chew the cud. He couldn't even see where his hair was going. I did not care about her demolition as I had already found an effective solution for flying hair. Somewhere in my mind I may have thought "What did they say about going into space every year or two?"
