Over the years, the idea of having a nice paddle meant having a big one, but times have changed and we have entered the era of a small, home decoration ideas apartments. This is especially true for bachelors and those with day-to-day activities away from the family home.
Why is the little one beautiful? For those who live a hectic life (and who doesn't live these days?), Smaller apartments mean less expensive and easier cleaning and maintenance. Rent is usually less, it is much easier and cheaper to decorate it the way you like it, the repair is painless, and it is better in the surrounding area. You need fewer lamps, less cooling or heating, less water to use for cleaning, so you surely have less or less carbon footprint.
A little does not mean spartan yet, and today's cool combined space can be comfortable, and with just a little effort you will come home with a smile on your face all the time!
The first step, and this is biggie, something of a better personality. In fact, many personal education courses start with the best advice: Get Rid of Trash. It is almost like a zen in its simplicity, but the result, if you try to achieve it, is life-changing. Do you really need all those things? Really, think about it. Most of the things we hold on to are exactly that: garbage. Of course we really want these memories, but that too can be done better with a journal. Get a good notebook and pen and start writing down your memories, or start a blog. Take all the rubbish (or memory-item) you have, write about it, and throw it away or sell it. The burden of your life will be much easier, you will have a journal to be proud of, and your apartment will have all that extra space.
Next, focus on small furniture. When you are in the process of completing your required pieces, consider simple, minimal, bright. Flexible chairs, an extra folding table, and even a comfortable folding sofa, performs double the task, and saves space. If you want a pizazz, go with the color, not the sprawl. As with anything, be intentional with each item you plan to bring to your space. It's not fast so try not to buy suddenly - this will not only get you the furniture you like and love, but you will also save money and you are on your way to becoming "junk-free."
Finally, think of all the free space on the wall. Plants (especially good for those who live alone and cannot have pets), for example, do not need to be in a vase on a table or pot on the floor. There are many inexpensive flower pots in any department store or specialist store, or hanging pots on the corner roof.
