You will need about 25 minutes to bake the chicken 425˚ depending on the size of your chicken breast. For an extra golden crust, you can first brown your chicken in an ovenproof skillet and then finish baking in the oven - this will take about the same amount of time (about 8 minutes in the skillet and 10 to 15 minutes in the oven).
1. Preheat the oven to 425˚ Brush a rimmed baking sheet with olive oil.
2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Arrange the chicken breasts on a prepared baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper. Bake, stirring the pan for about 25 minutes until the chicken is just cooked through. Transfer the chicken to a bowl and rest for 5 minutes before cutting.
