Which taste is preferable?

Children generally eat sweet food easier than other flavors. Breast milk is sweet and milk powder for bottled milk also has a sweetish taste. As a result, they start with a preference for sweet food. After the breast and/or bottle feeding period, it is important to let children get used to other flavors. And I know, as a mother of 6 and grandma of 9 children, that this can often give a fight at the table. I can give you one thing: “Never fight a child who refuses to eat, I can tell you in advance, you're going to lose this”

Picky eaters

First of all, never make exceptions. Eating what the pot does. Does not offer your child 15 hours before meals. Give a tiny bit of everything (teaspoons), then something else at the choice of one dish. Remember that your child's stomach is as big as one fist of your child. Make certain food (dessert) NO reward and NO punishment either!

Eating as a reward causes eating disorders

If children receive a certain type of food as a reward, the dopamine production is stimulated. Neurons are created jobs in the brain that have a strong resemblance to the neurons jobs of an addict. Stop immediately: “If you're sweet, or you behave yourself, you'll get an ice cream” Or, if you don't bother dad at the zoom, then we'll go to the Mc Donalds. Totally wrong!
