How does the attachment of vertebrae work? (experience story)
It's been two years since one of my vertebrae couldn't absorb a major blow and collapsed.
This is partly a result of osteoporosis . (<- Read more about what that is exactly here, if you're not familiar with the disease.)
Exactly what happened, because this did not happen spontaneously like some, can you here reading.
An MR examination revealed that the vertebra had collapsed crooked. On the one hand, there was almost nothing left, but on the other hand, there was still a part that saved it.
That obliquity caused a bulge that just didn't touch the spinal cord. So lucky in the event of an accident.
