How enriching a collaboration can be...
Anyone who knows or follows me already knows that nature and everything that has to do with it is very high on my list.
I have been teaching in a rural school for more than 30 years.
So the kids who stay in my class aren't city kids who think leek is growing in the store.
But the best part is to get started with that nature and thus reach the curriculum goals.
And that's what we do this school year !
For a whole school year, we have been working together with the volunteers of Velt in the Samentuin in our village.
those Togethergarden is located at the former rectory, in the center of our village, and has a large garden that would otherwise only be neglected.
Velt is an association that connects people who put ecological life first and want to pass on their knowledge about this.
