Asia is one of the most diverse continents of the World. Asian continent covers almost 9% of the earth's total area. If you consider the land area only, Asia covers nearly 30% of the land area. Rest 70% covers the other continents of the World. Another fact you should know about Asia is that this continent has the longest coastline. The continent covers 44,579,000 square kilometers area in total. Asia, being the World's largest continent, is the home to largest portion of the World’s population.
